Corporate Reputation and Social Responsibility RankingsThe Most Respected U.S. Companies 2008
- BCCCThe Global Pulse
2008 is the third annual study of the reputations of the world's largest companies. The study was developed by Reputation Institute to provide executives with a high-level overview of their company’s reputation with consumers. Conducted annually since 2006 results from the study have created a robust database of reputation ratings for the world’s largest companies in their home markets. The beating heart of the model is the Pulse – the degree to which people trust, admire, respect, and have a good feeling for a company. Scores are based on answers to four questions and are standardized on a scale of 0-100. The London Benchmarking Group
(LBG) is a group of over 100 companies working (globally) together to measure Corporate Community Investment (CCI). Global Corporate Volunteer Council
(GCVC), an initiative of the International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE) helps multinational companies effectively address world social needs, and raise awareness of corporate volunteering. The GCVC has six founding members and a growing list of general members.
