Donate

I want to support The Volunteer Center!

Your financial contribution makes a difference.

Thanks to our generous donors, more than 1,000 programs in the local community benefit annually from the resources and assistance provided by The Volunteer Center.

Just to name a few, last year, your donation provided volunteers to:
  • bring friendship to 900 isolated seniors (Little Brothers -- Friends of the Elderly),
  • stock 110,000 bags of groceries for the chronically-ill living at home (Project Open Hand)
  • show love and support to 400 local kids (Big Brothers/Big Sisters of San Francisco & the Peninsula)

No matter how much you give, your gift combined with another person's and another person's ... can make a huge difference in the lives of so many in the local community!

Here are some examples of how your donation will help us accomplish our mission:

$10 Connect a volunteer to a cause they love

$25 Support a special needs student's career exploration through volunteering
 or
Connect a student with a service-learning volunteer opportunity

$50 Help a person with disabilities use volunteerism to transition to paid work
or
Connect a nonprofit to the resources it needs to succeed

$75 Sponsor a nonprofit to support their work with volunteers

$100 Provide volunteers with meaningful opportunities

$200 Host a free Nonprofit Board Service Information Session for the public
