what people are saying. The moment I became involved with community outreach on behalf of my company, I contacted the BACVC for mentoring, support and advice. Additionally, when anyone asks for advice about Corporate Volunteer activities, the BACVC is my first recommendation.

Bay Area Nonprofit Volunteer Leaders Council Vision Statement

The NVLC is an innovative initiative targeted at creating cross-over venues for interaction between the nonprofit and business sectors. While exploring and providing information about best practices in volunteer program development and management, this council of nonprofit volunteer leaders brings the work of volunteerism to the forefront so nonprofits include volunteerism as part of their business bottom-line--not just in direct service, but in all aspects of the organization. Directly modeled after its award-winning sister council, the Bay Area Corporate Volunteer Council (BACVC), the NVLC is leading the way to solving community issues through creative thinking, partnerships and collaborations.
