Transitional Volunteer Program (TVP)

Since 1974, it has been The Volunteer Center’s pleasure and honor to refer and place mental health and recovery consumers in structured, pre-vocational volunteer positions through our Transitional Volunteer Program. Unfortunately, The Volunteer Center has been notified by the city of San Francisco that the Transitional Volunteer Program will not be funded after June 30, 2010, so regrettably we will be temporarily discontinuing services while we pursue new funding sources.
